You've heard me talk, blog, post, rant (me? never!) about GDPR time and time again. The new regulations come into force on 25th May 2018, which is fast approaching. I know these big changes can feel a bit overwhelming, but help is out there!
As of Wednesday 1st November, The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has launched a telephone advice line, aiming to give more personal advice to small businesses to help them prepare for the changes afoot. The service is aimed to help organisations that employ fewer than 250 people.
The service can also advise on current data protection regulations, and other legislation that is regulated but the ICO including Electronic Marketing and Freedom of Information.
So if you need some guidance or advice, dial the ICO on 0303 123 1113, selecting option 4.
Further information on the launch of the phone line can be found by clicking here.
The ICO website is a great resource for all things GDPR, so it is definitely worth your while to have a good trawl through.
Alternatively, feel free to contact us if you want some assistance with understanding the regulations and importantly - how to implement them in a proportionate and sensible manner. Call 020 8263 6063 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
